Keeping a clean kitchen is not an impossible chore. You only need to know what’s the correct way to clean everything and which products to use. We’ve gathered some tricks for you to maintain a super clean kitchen.

Floors and Tiles

When cleaning the floor, never mix detergent with bleach, because that would kill the disinfectant properties of the products. For ever liter of water, use eight drops of detergent. Use that solution with a cloth to mop the floor, and for the heavier dirt, prepare a solution of two tablespoons of bleach for every liter of water and scrub the floor.

When cleaning the tiles, scrub them with a cloth soaked in a general cleaner and water. Let it dry and use a flannel to make them shine. Pro tip: if there’s grease stains, mix equal parts of white vinegar and lemon juice in a spray bottle. Pulverize it, scrub with a sponge and rinse with water.

Use water and a neutral detergent to clean stainless steel and granite sinks. Remember to rinse and dry it well. To eliminate any bacteria, wash the sink with a solution of two tablespoons of bleach and one liter of water. Let it dry naturally. To remove stains from stainless steel sinks, use a clean cloth with alcohol.

To clean the inside of your microwave, use only a cloth with water and detergent. To clean the outside of it, use the same as before, but dry it with a clean cloth.

When cleaning your stove, with a sponge with water and detergent. Rinse and dry it with a clean, soft cloth.

Now it’s time to hit your fridge. To clean the inside, use a cloth with a solution of water and baking soda – 1 tablespoon to every liter of water – and rinse. On the outside, use water and detergent.
